Vicky is the head vet and proud owner of Clarendon Equine Vets. Vicky originally Joined Clarendon Equine as an assistant vet back in 2015 and after the sad passing of the previous owner Mr Robin Appleton MRCVS she bought the practice in 2018. Vicky completed her advanced certificate in Equine Medicine in August 2021 and has particular interests in this field. Vicky thoroughly enjoys the challenges of running the practice alongside juggling her young family at home with four dogs in tow as well! When she’s not at work you’ll find her spending quality time with her family and breeding the occasional foal too!

Suzie joined Clarendon Equine Clinic back in 2011. She originally provided additional support to our reception team and caring for the inpatients. Her wealth of experience in the day to day running of the practice has seen her progress to practice manager in 2018. Suzie has bred and shown many Arabian horses over the years. She is currently bringing on her new youngster called Amara.

Kelly Joined the practice in January 2021 after graduating from the university of Bristol in July 2020. Pictured here with her horse Heidi who she shares with a friend. Kelly has a keen interest in equine ambulatory care and is looking forward to developing further interests here at the clinic. When she’s not riding you’ll find her training for a half marathon and even a full marathon in her spare time!

Danielle joined Clarendon in October 2022 having worked in small animal and equine practice in Yorkshire and Kent previously. Danielle Graduated from the university of Liverpool in 2015. She enjoys riding in competitively in her spare time both at home as well as riding holidays with her partner in some awesome destinations! She also plays netball with a local team. Danielle enjoys all the variety of patients we treat at Clarendon Equine and is currently studying towards an advanced certificate in Equine Medicine.

Lauren Graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2022 and has since completed a rotating internship at the RVC Equine Referral hospital before Joining Clarendon Equine in July 2023. Lauren’s passion for horses started aged 10 where she would muck out stables after school at the local riding centre in return for riding lessons. Lauren has a keen interest in Equine Sports Medicine and we she isn’t working you’ll find her travelling the world to enjoy international equestrian events.

Lauren Joined Clarendon Equine in 2017 to provide additional support to our reception team and help care for our in-patients. Lauren is a qualified SQP (suitably qualified person) and as such can provide valuable advice for our clients on targeted parasite control and treatment (worming plans and worm egg count advice). Lauren also takes care of the administrative work associated with export health certificates for our clients too. Lauren Competed regularly in ridden showing and has been riding ever since she can remember! When she isn’t at work Lauren sings in a soul band who regularly perform at local venues in the county.

Kelly has owned horses and competed (mainly showing) since the age of 10. Pictured here with her late horse Charlie. She joined our busy reception team in August 2022. Kelly has a keen interest in all things equine as well as the veterinary side and is looking forward to seeing all the interesting things the vets get up to on a daily basis. Her spare time is spent taking her children out to sporting activities and competitions with her husband, as well as taking her dogs for walks (including her retired police dog).
