The people behind Clarendon Equine.
Vicky is the head vet and proud owner of Clarendon Equine Vets. Vicky originally Joined Clarendon Equine as an assistant vet back in 2015 and after the sad passing of the previous owner Mr Robin Appleton MRCVS she bought the practice in 2018. Vicky completed her advanced certificate in Equine Medicine in August 2021 and has particular interests in this field. Vicky thoroughly enjoys the challenges of running the practice alongside juggling her young family at home with four dogs in tow as well! When she’s not at work you’ll find her spending quality time with her family and breeding the occasional foal too!
Suzie joined Clarendon Equine Clinic back in 2011. She originally provided additional support to our reception team and caring for the inpatients. Her wealth of experience in the day to day running of the practice has seen her progress to practice manager in 2018. Suzie has bred and shown many Arabian horses over the years. She is currently bringing on her new youngster called Amara.
Emma joined Clarendon Equine in November 2023 and enjoys being an integral part of our client care team. She also assists our vets with clinical procedures such as endoscopy, radiography and handling horses for surgical procedures so every day can bring something different! Emma competes with her two horses Rosco and Harry very regularly. Harry has competed at Royal Windsor, Royal London and the Royal international in both in-hand and ridden showing. Rosco has also been competing in-hand at the Royal international horse show, so Emma is very busy outside of work!
Kelly Joined the practice in January 2021 after graduating from the university of Bristol in July 2020. Pictured here with her horse Heidi who she shares with a friend. Kelly has a keen interest in equine ambulatory care and is looking forward to developing further interests here at the clinic. When she’s not riding you’ll find her training for a half marathon and even a full marathon in her spare time!

Lauren Graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2022 and has since completed a rotating internship at the RVC Equine Referral hospital before Joining Clarendon Equine in July 2023. Lauren’s passion for horses started aged 10 where she would muck out stables after school at the local riding centre in return for riding lessons. Lauren has a keen interest in Equine Sports Medicine and we she isn’t working you’ll find her travelling the world to enjoy international equestrian events.

Lauren is a qualified SQP (suitably qualified person) and as such can provide valuable advice for our clients on targeted parasite control and treatment (worming plans and worm egg count advice). Lauren also takes care of the administrative work associated with export health certificates for our clients too. Lauren Competed regularly in ridden showing and has been riding ever since she can remember! When she isn’t at work Lauren sings in a soul band who regularly perform at local venues in the county.
Kelly has owned horses and competed (mainly showing) since the age of 10. Pictured here with her late horse Charlie. She joined our busy reception team in August 2022.
